Born in Bradford Age of Wonder cohort: A protocol for qualitative longitudinal research

Born in Bradford (BiB) has followed the lives of 13,776 children born district between 2007 and 2011. Children birth cohort are now entering adolescence, next phase research - Age Wonder (AoW) will be a whole city capturing experiences 30,000 adolescents progressing into young adulthood. This protocol focuses on one component AoW programme: qualitative longitudinal (QLR). The study gather depth detailed accounts from sub-sample 100 people across four major priorities: personal life; social community growing up with difference, Bradford. As well as using traditional methods such interviews, focus group discussions, ethnography, we adopting innovative creative including expressions through art, activism, online digital content, portraits, critical events. process engaging co-producing QLR potentially provides route to empowering shape narrative their own informing intervention development.
